Thank you for your recent purchase of firearm parts from Patriot Defense LLC (PDLLC). We appreciate your business and are committed to ensuring a smooth delivery process.
As you may be aware, new California laws (Assembly Bill 1263 and Senate Bill 704) took effect on January 1, 2026. These changes impose additional requirements on sellers shipping certain firearm accessories, components, and barrels to California residents. To comply with these regulations and proceed with shipping your order, we require the following from you:
- A clear copy of a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or state ID card) to verify your age (must be 21 or older) and shipping address. The name and address on the ID must match your order exactly.
- A signed acknowledgment form confirming receipt of the required statutory warning regarding prohibited uses under California law (e.g., restrictions on manufacturing un-serialized firearms or assault weapons). Please provide a signed form that covers the acknowledgment of the above, or you can reply with a signed statement including your full name, order number, and the following text: "I acknowledge that it is generally unlawful in California to manufacture firearms in certain prohibited ways, including without a license or using restricted methods, as outlined in the relevant Penal Code sections."
Please reply to this email with the scanned/photocopies of your ID and the signed acknowledgment (or the statement above) as soon as possible. Once received and verified, we will promptly process and ship your order.
If your order includes a standalone firearm barrel, please note that it must be shipped to a licensed California FFL for transfer. Provide your preferred FFL's information if applicable.
