Tanfoglio | Extended Sear Single Side Safety - Steel Frame

I purchased this extended safety to make it easier to drop the safety in Limited Optics (starting cocked and locked). I got it in silver to match the chrome finish on my Stock II. The price was great, bit I didn’t realize I had to fit the safety. Wasn’t hard, just identified the one little nub that rotates up under the sear, and compared it against the nub on the factory safety. Took 5 minutes using a dremmel and grinding wheel. I’ll point out that this extended safety is not nearly as “long” or “extended” as the sort you find for CZ platforms, so you really can’t use it was a sort of “thumb rest” or “gas pedal” for your strong hand to help control recoil. But it works great for getting the safety off and on faster.

This is the only safety so far that my short thumbs have been able to work reliably without being too big that it gets bumped on safe. Just right for my hands on my limited custom.

Just the right width and size for easy reach on my Witness 45 to engage/disengage safety.
Not obtrusive to CCW.
