    Risk Worth Taking!

Posted by Eric Bergemann on Apr 25th 2025

I bought this to replace the factory hammer on a SAR K2-45. Although not original meant for the SAR after doing lots of googling and reading forums I found the SAR uses many of the same parts as the Tanfoglios LF & Jericho. The machining is excellent and the DLC coating when oiled is a rich black color. The texture at the top of the hammer is "chef's kiss" perfection. The DA was shortened several mm from stock, however I mainly bought this for the aesthetics. I don't think this hits as hard as my stock hammer from SAR. The original was noticeably heavier and the pencil test resulted in about a 2" loss however with the extended firing pin, I don't think reliability will suffer. I have to test a few different loads at the range this weekend. In conclusion it is a worthwhile upgrade if your looking for a BADA$$ hammer that improves the trigger pull and feels amazing.
