We utilize our Custom Match Throat Reamer to ensure we bring your short leade to an acceptable OAL length to allow a much greater range of projectile and OAL to be utilized. This service will greatly increase reliability in guns with short/no “leade” and has no negative affect on accuracy. Usual turnaround time is less than 24hrs and pricing includes return shipping back to you. Please send dummy rounds if you plan to use a specific projectile and OAL.

We do not offer PCC and SMG barrel reaming services.

If you send a hard coated barrel utilizing this standard service, it will add 3-5 business days to turnaround in order to change the service request.

Sent my CZ barrel in to these fine folks a couple weeks ago to increase the leade so I could load longer cartridges. I have shot several hundred rounds since the barrel was returned and have nothing but good to say. Quick turnaround, splendid work, no issues whatsoever. I will most certainly use Patriot Defense services in the future...

If you are reloading for your Tanfo then this is a must. This allows a lot of flexibility with your ammo without worrying about OAL.

Couldn't have asked for faster service. Shipped the barrel USPS on Friday priority mail and had it back in the gun the following Friday. The reaming was spot on and fixed a problem with the pistol it belongs to. Price of the job was less than I expected it would be. I have a couple other barrels that could benifit from being reamed and Patriot Defense is where I will send them.

This service is a necessity if using a Tanfoglio Limited or CZ 75 with a variety of bullet shape/types. After reaming the only bullet not passing the "plunk test" was 125 gr Hornady HAP's which are .356 diameter rather than .355. Shot the barrel today and accuracy was in no way impaired. Thanks for a great job and a quick turn-around.

Patriot Defense has reamed three barrels to accommodate my preferred OAL. They were also available to answer questions along the way. Each time the work was performed correctly and my barrels were returned promptly. I recommend and will use their barrel reaming service again.
